2009
Power Line Services History
Power Line Services was founded in 2009. It invests in the power generation, midstream gas, renewable energy and electric transmission sectors of North America’s energy infrastructure. The creation of Power Line Services was the first step in its objective of establishing an energy-focused construction and related services business.
Over the course of the next two years, Power Line Services acquired Sun Electric, TESSCO Industrial, TESSCO Energy, Auger Services and Air2 to diversify its service capabilities.
2012
In 2012 Power Line Services, Auger Services and Air2 became subsidiaries of PLH Group, which has since acquired other electrical transmission, distribution and substation construction businesses, along with pipeline construction, engineering and ROW maintenance companies.
