Lon Hill Substation Upgrades

Power Line Services began working on the Lon Hill Substation Upgrades with American Electric Power in August 2015, and plans to have work completed by the end of March 2016.

The upgrades for Lon Hill consist of taking down old steel and bus, and the old equipment. PLS then has to make new foundations and put new steel and equipment up. All of this work occurs during outages only, so when given a window, PLS has to ensure all work is completed in that time frame.
