Monticello-Reed Substation and Transmission Line

In June, Entergy awarded the PLS/Sargent & Lundy JV with the Monticello-Reed Substation and Transmission Line Project. The Project is located southeast of Little Rock, Arkansas.

For PLS, the work includes construction of the new Reed Substation (to be completed in 2017) as well as breaker and terminal additions to the Monticello East Substation (to be completed in 2016). Three tie-ins will be installed to support the new Reed Substation. In addition, a new transmission line from the Monticello East Substation to the new Reed Substation will be installed with anticipated completion in 2019. Air2 will be subcontracting to PLS for the pilot rope installation.
